At last night’s 9th International Festival of Dramas and TV Series, FEDIS presented the Golden Antenna awards in 14 categories.
The Golden Antenna for the best TV Series in 2018/2019 was given to “Besa” while the award for the most popular TV series was won by “Koreni” (“The Roots”).
ŽarkoLaušević was voted the best male lead for his role in TV series “Koreni” (“The Roots”), while the Golden Antenna for the best female lead went into the hands of Jovana Stoiljković (“Jutroćepromenitisve” (“Morning Changes Everything”)).
The best male supporting act was won by Igor Đorđević for his role in the “Državnislužbenik” (“State Officer”) TV series, the best female supporting act was presented to Vesna Trivalić for her role in the “Žigosani u reketu” (“Stamped in a Racket”) TV series.
The best breakthrough performance of the year was Ivan Vujić’s performance in the “KraljPetarPrvi” (“King Petar First”) TV series.
Miloš Radivojević (“Žmurke” (“Hide and Seek”)) was voted the best director, ĐorđeMilosavljević (“Koreni” (“The Roots”)) the best screenwriter, Igor Šunter (“Besa”) the best director of photography, Boris Čakširan (“Koreni” (“The Roots”) and “KraljPetarPrvi” (“King Petar First”)) the best costume designer and Nemanja Mosurović (“Besa”) the best composer.
“Pogrešan čovek” (“The Wrong Man”) was voted the most popular TV series from the region broadcast in Serbia, and the Golden Antenna for the overall contribution to the TV production was awarded to Zdravko Šotra.
The FEDIS Festival is the only TV series festival in Southeastern Europe and it is being held annually at the Belgrade Youth Center.
